KSRTC Live (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides real-time bus tracking and travel information for Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation services. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how third parties (including advertising partners) may use it, and how you can control it.

• Account data: name, email address, password hash, sign-in provider.
• Usage data: routes searched, buses viewed, saved favourites, device, browser type and approximate IP-based location.
• Location data: only with your permission, to surface nearby buses and stops.
• Cookies and similar technologies: for session management, preferences, analytics and advertising (see Section 7).

We use your data to operate the service — authenticate you, personalise routes, send service alerts, improve accuracy of ETAs, prevent abuse, and show relevant advertising. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication, analytics, advertising) bound by confidentiality, and when required by law. Aggregated, non-identifying data may be used for transport research.

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion to satisfy legal and operational requirements. You can request immediate deletion at any time by writing to Karnatakabus@gmail.com.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information from your account settings, or by writing to Karnatakabus@gmail.com. You may also withdraw consent for optional features such as location and personalised ads at any time.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and deliver advertising. Some pages may display ads served by Google and other third-party vendors.

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

The service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at Karnatakabus@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Our service is operated from India. If you access it from outside India, your data may be transferred to, stored and processed in India and other countries where our providers operate.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 7 days before they take effect.
